Mr. Dinakar holds a B.E. degree from the University of Mysore. He has been with
Kennametal India Limited (KI) since February 2007 as head of KIs largest Business
Unit, i.e. Metal Working.



Prior to joining KI, Mr. Dinakar was Managing Director of Disa India Limited, the
Danish company, well known for their high-end foundary machinery. Prior to his stint
with Disa India, he was with Saint Gobain/Grindwell Norton Ltd. Mr. Dinakar brings
forth a background of a highly successful career with rich managerial experience and
a deep knowledge of the industries that Kennametal serves.

Dinakar resides in Bangalore with his wife and two children.
